The Hamilton Soccer Club is a division of the Hamilton Township Recreational Soccer Association, located in Hamilton Twp in Mercer County New Jersey.
We are volunteer driven, 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We currently have 10 competitive boys teams and 3 competitive girls teams who play in the South Jersey Soccer League and South Jersey Girls Soccer League. Most teams play a fall season, spring season and participate in an optional indoor winter league.

We own our own soccer complex located at 1242 Yardville-Allentown Road which has 2 full size, lighted soccer fields as well as two small training fields.

NSCAA SOCCER CONVENTION COMING TO PHILA IN JAN 2015!

Attention Coaches! The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) is having it's Annual Convention in our own backyard in 2015...at the Convention Center in PHILADELPHIA!

Over the years, the NSCAA Convention has been described as the “World’s Largest Annual Gathering of Soccer Coaches.” Convention attendees have expanded beyond just coaches to include administrators, referees, business leaders, players and fans. It is a celebration of a year of accomplishments, new developments, professional growth, and friendships that is wrapped up into their 2015 theme, “For the Love Of The Game.”

This event runs from Wednesday January 14 to Sunday January 18. Sessions range from Lectures and US Youth Workshops to (indoor!) Field Sessions. A wealth of knowledge and ideas await you! BOYS U11 HAWKS ARE SOUTH JERSEY SPRING CHAMPIONS!

The Hamilton U-11 Hawks have flown over the competition as they won flight 5 in the South Jersey Soccer League this spring! The Hawks who are coached by Mary and Pat Brower ended the spring season with an undefeated record of 8-0-1 over nine games. The team scored 18 goals while only allowing 3 against! Doing the math that's a Goal Differential of +15! Coach Brower summed it up as "Our boys worked extremely hard this whole year so winning the spring season was a great reward! We are so very proud of all our players... And look forward to more soccer to come!"

Congratulations to the Hawk coaches, players and parents on your hard work and a great season!!!

BOYS U14 DRAGONS ARE SOUTH JERSEY FALL CHAMPIONS!

The Hamilton Dragons were named the South Jersey Soccer League U-14 fall division champions in their flight. The team played their final game against the East Greenwich Cyclones on Nov. 17, which ended in a 1-1 tie. The Dragons ended the fall season with a 8-1-1 record.

Congratulations to the coaches, players and parents on your hard work and a great season!!!

OFFICIAL COACHING MANUAL BY US YOUTH SOCCER IS ONLINE!

US Youth Soccer has made their Official Coaching Manual available online!

This 105-page document includes sample practice/game activities by age group, chapters on Effective Coaching Behavior and Team Management, as well as the USYSA Modified Rules of Play. It's a great resource for you as a coach to use as you plan and organize practice sessions for your team.

US Youth Soccer have also put the current rules and recommendations for small-sided games for ALL age levels online. It's a great resource of information as well. Happy coaching!

CONCUSSION TRAINING REQUIRED!

Whether you are a travel coach or a recreation coach, you MUST go through the CDC Heads Up Concussion training.

All youth Coaches in all sports in New Jersey are required to take this course. With the growing epidemic of concussions in both youth and pro sports it is important that coaches recognize and understand how serious this is and know what to do should this happen to a player on your team or at the field.

Print out the certificate when you have finished taking this short online course and provide a copy to the Travel Director.

SOME NOTES ON THE FINGER-PRINTING

The finger-printing process has changed. The form to complete can be found HERE. The closest place to have them taken is SAFRAN MorphoTrak in Ewing in the Parkway Corp Center 1230 Parkway Avenue Suite 102 Ewing, N.J. 08628. Their hours are 9:00-4:55 Monday - Friday and 2nd & 4th Saturdays 9:00-11:55 am. You have to make an appointment prior to going to SAFRAN at www.bioapplicant.com/nj and make payment at that time via credit or debit card. After having your fingerprints taken, you then take the form to the recreation office on Kuser Road. They should give you a receipt. The cost is $26.00 and the town will then reimburse the club and the club will in turn reimburse you.

These are a great resource for ideas to do at your practices/training sessions with your players! Print them out or view online or download a copy to your mobile device!...It's all there! These make coaching easy!
